The goals we have set for ourselves here at King David Community Center for the future are truly grand. Goals like expanding our stage to truly professional dimensions, accommodating all the requirements that professional theater and music performances call for, and the construction of a sports center equiped with swimming pools, saunas, and gym facilities.
In 2011, the Center also purchased a large plot of land and commissioned the construction of a new, 10-story, 500-apartment retirement-home, which will be based upon the most modern architectural practices, and use architectural planning for the most possible ease and comfort of life. It is also noteworthy that the new retirement-home apartment building will be surrounded by dancing fountains, use solar panels for a majority of its power, and be environmentally-conscious in using water from nearby underground sources.
Of course, such grand plans require huge investments. Therefore, King David Community Center actively cooperates with representatives of a wide variety of businesses, and is always looking for investors, sponsors, and philanthropists. It should also be noted that much of the assistance received by the Center is from the administration of Gwinnett County, with which we have established a mutually-beneficial business relationship.
Gwinnett County officials truly see the benefits offered by the plans and function of King David Community Center to the infrastructure of the county as a whole, and gladly issues permits for construction and continued operation of the facilities offered by King David Community Center.
